We consider it a great honor to build a home for every one of our families.
We are merely the narrators to each unique story. Our role is to translate their words into brick and mortar. Trust and collaboration are paramount. Our reputation lies in the details as we build each home purposeful, bespoke, warm, inviting, and authentic.
PHASE I | CONCEPT
Initial Development
We understand you are busy with jobs and family and are seeking to hire one company to team captain the build of your home to the highest ethical, design, architectural, and construction standards.
Our first meeting is all about listening. We ask thoughtful questions to understand your vision and design preferences, lifestyle needs and, most importantly, you. We ask you to create a wishlist for your home and details about each member of your family to ensure we are creating a home unique to the way you live. We also discuss the scope, anticipated budget, and timeline.
More than just building a house, our goal is to create a home that reflects your story — a space shaped by your routines, values, traditions, and the moments that matter most.
Every detail is thoughtfully considered to ensure your home feels personal, functional, and truly yours.
PHASE II | CONSTRUCTION DESIGN
Flow Plan, Exterior Architectural Styles and Building Materials
Drawing from everything we have learned from Phase l, we craft a design concept which includes floor plan, exterior SketchUp models, and 3D renderings to aid you in viewing how your home will look for each vantage point. We position your home on the property to maximize views with attention to space planning, outdoor landscape, and hardscape. We include a basic furniture layout to ensure purposeful furniture selection. We also present exterior architectural concepts, materials, and color palette.
Plan Submittal
We interface with our extensive team of experts to have plans prepared and submitted to The Department of Building and Safety for swift permit approval.
PHASE III | INTERIOR CONSTRUCTION DESIGN
While plans are being reviewed by The Department of Building and Safety, we get busy!
Interior Ideation Boards/Presentations
We prepare interior ideation boards for each main space of your home to impart a “feel” upon entering your home. While these boards are not exact selections of materials, they will give a sense of design direction and confirm we are aligned before proceeding further. Upon your approval, we begin Sketchup and AutoCad drawings for each room in your home.
Material Selections
To make decision making streamline and at pace of construction, you will select materials from 2 options presented for each room. These presentations include materials for flooring, walls, ceilings, millwork, and more. We present options for lighting, plumbing, home entertainment/security, cabinet hardware, and accessories to ensure cohesion throughout your home.
We finalize exterior architectural materials and exterior renderings.
We work with our landscape architects and contractors to procure the highest quality materials for your budget.
Interior Design Capabilities
While we are not interior designers, we can help pair the right fit for you from a curated list of trusted designers. Interior design services can include a comprehensive design package-from all furnishings, including custom upholstery, window treatments, fixtures, and accessories.
PHASE IV | CONSTRUCTION
Architectural Plan Sets - Organized and Schedules Completed
With your approval for the final selections, we complete detailed Sketchup, AutoCad drawings, and Material Schedules. All documentation is compiled into a customized Specification Binder, which is shared with our contractors and subcontractors to guide the construction process with clarity and precision.
Construction and Project Management
Upon receiving the approved set of plans, our team is ready to start construction. Our job is to ensure the process is executed with attention to detail and quality control…a Red Door Home standard.
We are the captain of the entire process and will take care of every detail from concept to completion.
